From The Press, In Palmer, May 1, 1817, xii, 144pp, pages 125-128 missing lower two thirds, edge wear, discolouration and staining, some losses, edge splits, calf. A very rare but very well worn and used copy. The story of a New England sailor's accounts of travails in the Pacific 1805-07; Patterson was so traumatized one Ezekiel Terry of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, compiled the account from documents, pages 64-73 document Hawaii with insights into the culture and monarchy, page 100 mentions cannibalism.
