Stevenson Robert Louis - Kidnapped Being Memoirs of the Adventures of David Balfour In The Year 1751. Cassell & Company, Limited, first edition 1886, with folding frontis map, 311pp, plus other publications, green cloth. Anomalies as required "business" line 11 page 40, "nine o'clock" line 1 page 64, "Long Islands" lines 9/10 page 101. Spine ends frayed, slightly cocked, otherwise ok. From the collection of C. R. H. Taylor, former Chief Librarian, Alexander Turnbull Library 1937-63. A scarce true first of this post Culloden classic.
