Camden William - Remaines concerning Britaine But especially England, and the Inhabitants thereof. Printed at London by John Legatt for Simon Waterson, second edition, 1614 (first 1605). Shakespeare mentioned on page 44, original mss poem page 379, mss proverb page 309, woodcut device to TP, 386pp, taped repair and small left edge repair to TP, marbled fore-edges, rebound red cloth. The 1614 edition is particularly famous because it was the expanded second edition. This version is notable for containing a famous list of contemporary poets that praises William Shakespeare, as well as an essay by Richard Carew titled "The Excellencie of the English Tongue"
