A Missionary Visit to Various Stations In The South Seas, In The Years MDCCCXLVII, Edited by Rev. Elijah Hoole. Published by John Mason, London, 1850, HT, folding map, 303pp, 6 wood-cut plates, original blind stamped red cloth, some wear to spine ends, otherwise good. Signature of Charles Hoole, London, Christmas, 1849 to front endpaper (secretary to the Wesleyan Methodist Church), also with a tipped in handwritten letter to the rear from Walter Lawry, Auckland, with 2 stamps from the Webster Collection, with a book form presentation box in half dark green morocco and marbled boards. A scarce and rather nice copy.
