Printed For C Cooke by Macdonald And Son, London, 1802, xiv, 816 & 728pp, with numerous maps and fine black and white engravings. Volume I pertaining to Captain Cook's voyages and including the folding map of Cook's Pacific voyages and engravings including a kangaroo ('A Singular Animal called Kanguroo found on the coast of New Holland, pp236, also the portrait of Bennilong pp244). half tan calf. Some old staining, foxing, browning, offsetting from plates but generally a lovely clean and tight complete set.
