Shakespeare mentioned on page 44, TP with woodcut device of Alma Mater of Cantabrigia. A clean sturdy copy of this antiquarian miscellany, first published in 1605 and one of the earliest attempts systematically to study Britain and its past, including facts & anecdotes about names, clothing, money, artillery & language etc.
