A newspaper publication created on board the ship British Empire during its 1864 voyage from Great Britain to New Zealand. A full set of the 9 newsletters bound in in a plain card folder. Co-edited by Andrew Nash and Robert Speechly with ink inscription to inner cover, name and address and stamp to first page, also loss to upper right corner, taped halfway down and foxed and discoloured. A scarce and interesting little group of early NZ historical and nautical ephemera.
