The original “Hands Off Bastion Point” protest sign form 1977–78, on heavy card with a wooden substrate 78 x 54cm $8,000 - $12,000 Provenance: Originally in a Northland estate, later salvaged from the tip in 2021. This sign appears briefly in a YouTube video promoting the Bastion Point film. It also appears in the publication “Takaparawha Bastion Point / 506 days on Ancestral Māori Land / Bastion Point Defenders Reply to Government and Justice Speight”
