Lot Details
A collection of fifty C19th New Zealand Photographic images compiled in a red leather album. The sepia toned albumen prints predominately by Daniel Louis Mundy. Mostly scenic images including Milford Sound, Lake Wakatipu, Tasman, Otira Gorge, the Wanganui River, the Avon River and five images of Māori including guide Sophia and Rewi Maniapoto. Full size images, each stuck down on a single page. Some minor foxing but most images clean and clear. The red leather album with gilt tooled cover, initialled E.M.S and dated 1904. All photographs are circa 1860’s. Most photographs measure 24 x 18cm
