A Good Chinese Kangxi Period Porcelain Celedon Lidded Jar Decorated in underglaze blue and copper red. The ovoid body boldly painted with three fruiting clusters of peach picked out in copper red surrounded by small, pointed leaves in underglaze blue, all reserved on a celadon ground, Turned rosewood lid. Raised on a wooden stand Provenance: Purchased Webbs Fine Chinese Porcelain sale May 1994. Kwok Gallery Singapore 1984. Two similar jars are illustrated in Chinese Ceramics by B Jansen Chinese Ceramics Catalogue Haags Gemeentemuseum 1976, figure 358. Sold with the certificate of authenticity from Kwok Gallery H 17.5 cm
