Annals of New Zealand Literature; being a Preliminary List of New Zealand Authors and their Works (...) ... with introductory Essays and Verses New Zealand Author’s Week Committee, Wellington, 1936. [vi],117,[1]pp 4to royal blue boards gilt. One of a very small number of “de-luxe” copies so bound. This was Pat Lawlor’s copy with many relevant cuttings loosely enclosed or laid down on the endpapers -- a prospectus for this publication; NZ Authors’ Week Bulletin nos 1, 2 & 3; 3pp carbon typescript on the editing of the Richmond-Atkinson papers; a full page 1946 a.l.s. by Johannes Andersen largely on translations of his own books; and a photo from the Free Lance of the 17 members of the Author’s Week Committee (all identified). The review from the Sydney Bulletin notes: “in Maoriland as well as in Australia, women novelists rule the roost”. Bagnall A437.
