De Montalk, Count Geoffrey Wladyslaw Vaile Potocki - Dziecinstwo moje. Draguignan, France, The Mélissa Press, 1980, 1981, 1982. The complete 3 volume set of his autobiography, written in Polish, he said, to frustrate Alister Taylor. There are mild spots of foxing, but a very good set. Rather handsomely printed. This was issued in green card 215mm tall and (more splendidly) on hand-made paper in white card 240mm tall: this is the latter. The Turnbull copies appear oddly to be a mixed set. Loosely enclosed are three hand-printed annual ‘Saturnalia’ cards, all signed, and a copy of his ‘The Decimal Superstition’ with scratch marks – “Done by my damn cats / Potocki of Montalk”.
