First edition, 288pp, 8vo red cloth, light foxing, sl. worn d/w, inscribed on endpaper: “Monroe Wheeler / with the affection / of his friend, the / Author - / Jane Mander / London – Feb. 19, 1931 / Inscribed in the / Lyric Theatre / Hammersmith at / Tantivy Towers”. Wheeler established Harrisons of Paris, where Mander worked for a period. Bagnall M727.
