A Late 19th Century Lidded Urn Attributed To Piwiki Horohau (Ngati Raukawa) Circular shape on a pedestal base. The pedestal and stem with wharkarare and whakatara patterns. The base carved with two Kuri dogs in high relief. The lid with conforming decoration. The lid finial formed as two Kuri dogs. A smaller example held in the collection of the Auckland War Memorial Museum collection. Provenance: Sold at Webbs auctions September 2009 Height 29cm. Y13915
