An 18th Century Patu Onewa Spatulate shaped blade reducing to a tapering oval shaped grip section carved in greywacke. Countersunk suspension hole with three concentric grooves carved to the butt. The stone features quartz veining and pale mottling. Two minor chips to the blade. Length 34.5cm. Y10974
