with equatorial mounting, circles, clamps and slow motion control together with its wooden tripod. Provenance: The telescope was donated to the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand many years ago by a Mr McAlister of Auckland, and laterally was displayed in the entrance foyer of the Carter Observatory in Kelburn, Wellington. It was also professionally refurbished around 10 years. Few if any of these rarities appear on the market.
