with a Preface by George Sainsbury and Illustrated by Hugh Thomson, facsimile inscription reads "To J. Comyns Carr in acknowledgement of all I owe to his friendship and advice, these illustrations are gratefully inscribed Hugh Thomson. George Allen, Ruskin House, 156 charing Cross Road, London, reprinted March 1895, (first edition 1894) Bound in the publishers original blue cloth, blocked and lettered in gilt to the cover and spine with the famous image of a fully blossomed peacock perched on a sundial, inscription to the half-titlepage, slight cocking to the spine, otherwise a nice clean and bright copy.
