hand coloured copper engraved map, unframed, 48 x 60cm, edge wear and loss to corners. An interesting map on Mercators projection centred on the Pacific Ocean and Australia with a depiction of the Northwest Passage and the South Shetland Islands based on an early 19th century exploration.
