George Allen & Unwin Ltd, London, second impression, December, 1954, 423pp, folding map to the rear, red cloth, no DJ, owners surname and date (1955) in pen to upper FEP, spine sunned, a few spots to front board, otherwise good. The Two Towers Being The Second Part, second impression, 1955, folding map to the rear. The Return of the King Being The Third Part, first edition, 1955, folding map to the rear. Red cloth, spines sunned, slight fraying to upper left spine of Vol II, old spots to cover Vol I, minor foxing, otherwise a clean and tight set with a first and 2 other early copies of this now legendary work.
