Illustrated By Judith Masefield (Johns daughter) first edition, ND (1922) signed by both, published by William Heinemann, London, printed by Slatter & Rose, Ltd, Oxford, quarter cream cloth, plain boards, and with rare original glassine jacket, 13pp. The book comes with a letter and typed note of explanation from the original seller Frank Hollings, Rare Books, London, dated 1st October, 1940 to renowned Wellington author Pat Lawlor, apologising for the delay in dealing with his order as their premises had been bombed by the Germans.
