Tales By A. E. Coppard. The Golden Cockerel Press, 1921, limited edition of 550, the first book issued by the Press and the authors first book, 140pp, full cream cloth. Together with a holograph draft of a letter from the original owner to the author, commenting on his remarks in the preface to Jacob Schwartz's bibliography of The Writings of Alfred Edgard Coppard, together with the author's amusing holograph reply, loosely inserted in its original envelope. A fine copy with wonderful related ephemera.
