with some recollections by the artist. J. M. Dent & Sons Ltd, London, 1959, black cloth, 355pp. Robert Gibbings (1889-1958) founded the Society of Wood Engravers in 1919 in England and ran The Golden Cockerel Press from 1924 until 1933, employing other engravers including amongst others Eric Ravilious and Eric Gill.
