Engravings on Wood by Jon Farleigh, Edited by R. Ellis Roberts. The Golden Cockerel Press, Volume One, 1925 (All Published), limited edition number 298 of 450, 82pp, last colophon blank, title and headings printed in green, text in two columns, quarter vellum paper, spine lettered in gilt, pale green paper covered boards. It was originally intended to issue these essays in two volumes, but owing to an accident in which more than half the edition of the first volume was destroyed, it was decided not to proceed with Volume II. The illustrations for this book were Jon Farleigh's first commission.
