Barraud, Sampson Low, Marston, Searle And Rivington, London, first edition, 1877, finely bound in full red morocco gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt fore-edges, elephant folio with a map of New Zealand, 24 chromo-lithograhic plates, 19 plain and 31 woodcuts, ex library. A superbly bound copy of this scarce and iconic NZ historical volume.
