Folio, title page with 3 inset maps and vignette, hand coloured maps including folding with 3 of Queensland, & NSW, large rear map of North Australia with holes, tears, edge loss and foxing, statistical view with split to fold, map of Victoria with split and small tear to right lower fold, progress of NSW with small tear to lower edge, pages from Chronological Outline, Map of Queensland and Introductory Observations detached, Map of Australia loose, general foxing throughout, original blind stamped blue cloth with title in gilt, loss to 4 inches of upper spine strip, lower end frayed. Otherwise an exceptionally rare early volume on the continent.
