traditional Georgian shape with knopped stems and stepped square shaped bases, spurious stamped hallmarks and makers initials (lacking sconces) 24cm H Paktong was an alloy of copper and nickel, its whiteness making it a very good copy of silver, and was exported to England in the mid 18th century.
