plain rectangular panel with applied rose gold moa, fern fronds, marked monogram EG, stamped J. LANGE HOKITIKA and dated 1881, 5cm length Lange and Co of Stafford Town in February,1868. In October of that year he is advertising that he is the maker of “first-class Colonial Jewellery”. Premises at Revell St, Hokitika, reference West Coast Times 1881
