A Rare Rene Lalique Car Mascot Faucon The standing Falcon figure mounted on the original nickel-plated base. Raised on a wooden light box. Crica 1925 Marked R Lalique, France. The nickel plated base marked Breves Galleries. Knightsbridge. S.W,3 Lalique commissioned Breves Gallery in Knightsbridge to mount his mascots and hood ornaments and then retail them to the British public. The glass mascots were mounted in nickel plated fixtures and threaded caps, which lit from underneath using the engines battery power, this example is in fully working condition and in its original mount.
