Printed By Robert Stokes, Wellington, first edition, 1853, inscribed to the Rev Richard from the printer R Stokes on the half title with the name Basil M Taylor below, 2 p.l. xiv (7) 432pp, cxii, 18 and 2 page erratta, rebound red cloth with original cover laid down. HT with edge nibbles, small hole to TP, minor foxing Scarce. The first published and recognised collection of Maori waiata, being a comprehensive collection of material given to Sir George.
