Complete set of this brave attempt at a periodical entirely by local writers which lasted 12 issues from July 1889 to June 1890; here bound in green cloth. The editor was the colourful William Freeman who published as a serial his novel ‘The Mark of Cain’ as by “Owen Growden”; other fiction by Thomas Cottle and Wm Pember Reeves; Poets’ Corner; Musical Notes, etc.
