Edited and written mainly by C. R Allen in Lawrence, 1950-1. In the first three and the final issue (vol.2 no.4); one cover is loose, otherwise foxing and general wear throughout. Other contributors include Gloria Rawlinson, Edith Howes, Kendrick Smithyman, and Eve Langley. Enclosed is a 1951 letter from C.R. Allen to Tom Mills asking him to write an article on Katherine Mansfield for The Wooden Horse. The letter is typed at different angles and signed in pencil by the blind Allen.
