Unpublished fiction. 498 leaves, 4 to typescript with manuscript corrections, secured in binder. His early work re-surveying various land lots in Russell aroused the author's interest, “The object of the story … is to give a romantic though accurate account of the Treaty negotiations”. The first draft was completed in 1930, then “re-modelled” after being read and critiqued by Lindsay Buick and Bishop H.W. Williams. The work remains unpublished.
