Garland, G. Stuart - Folly for a Day. Oswald-Sealey, Auckland, 1944. 176pp, 8vo plain wrappers, pictorial d/w attached in worn condition, scattered foxing. A very uncommon novel, warmly reviewed in the NZ Herald 2 Dec.1944. Not in Bagnall and the only other surviving copy traced is in Sydney. Heys, Stella - Some of Us. Drawings by John Andrews. Currawong Publg, Sydney, 1944. 71pp, 8vo boards, general wear. Heys, 1915-1995, was born in Timaru and settled in Australia in 1937.
