Omar Ramsden & Alwyn Carr, the earlier 1910 example in the Tudor Rose pattern, the 1916 slightly longer spoon rarer in design with a sailing ship above a trident to the top, engraved with the letters C.N.D, both spoons with hand hammered bowls. Ramsden & Carr are regarded as two of the finest silversmiths of the early 20th century, specialising in adapted Gothic, Renaissance and Celtic designs.
