A Carved Poupou Panel By Norman Clark (1942 - 2016) Norman Clark was personally chosen by Sir James Henare to participate in the Te Maori Exhibition at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1984. The Poupou is carved as a wheku head with inset paua shell eyes. Signed and dated 1976 to the reverse. 53cm x 21cm
