Dame Lucie Rie And Hans Coper Six Place Coffee Set Comprising a coffee pot and milk jug each with side handles, sugar basin and six cups and saucers. With manganese glaze decorated with vertical radiating sgraffito bands to the exterior with white tin glazed interior. Impressed Lr and Hc seal marks to the base of the cups, the coffee pot, milk jug and sugar basin with Lr seal mark. c1960. Purchased from Stocktons Gallery in Woodward Street, Wellington during the 1960s and exhibited at the Hawks Bay Museum in a show curated by Moyra Elliot.
