The octagonal top with an inlaid checkerboard in burr totara and rewarewa on a mottled kauri ground. Further decorated with starburst deigns and with cross-banded inlay to the outside edge. The rewarewa frieze with two drawers. Raised on tapering legs united by stretchers centered by a shelf inlaid with a starburst design on a mottled kauri ground with cross-banding to the outside edge conforming with the decoration to table top. The legs terminate in brass castors. 75cmD
