Published for the Subscribers by the Author. Two volumes, large quarto (37.5cm) with 12 hand coloured lithographic plates, engraved portrait and text illustrations, some foxing to the margins of the frontispiece and endpapers, otherwise both volumes clean and tidy. Original red buckram with gilt kiwi to front boards and gilt titles, bindings in near mint condition, London 1905. Loosely enclosed with an autograph 1 page letter from London dated 29th July, 1915 from W. L. Buller to A. T. Pycroft enclosing a prospectus and thanking him for his valuable notes etc, also with a coloured lithographic poster published by Brett & Co, of New Zealand Native Birds from Brett's Christmas Annual Dec 1, 1921. A fine set.
