Sampson Low, Marston, Low And Searle, London, first edition, 1874, frontis map, 343pp, presentation inscription by the author to the FEP, half dark green calf, ex libris with usual stamps etc. John White was a native interpreter in Auckland, formerly resident magistrate at Whanganui, and Native Land Purchase Commissioner.
