Including, All The Empires, Kingdoms, And States, their Revolutions, Forms of Government, Laws, Religions, Customs and Manners, the Progress of their Learning, Arts, Sciences, Commerce and Trade, Together with Their Chronology, Antiquities, Public Buildings, and Curiosities of Nature and Art. Printed for J Newberry and others, London, first edition 1764, numerous folding maps and black and white plates, full calf, lacking volumes 12 & 13, Volume I boards detached, small loss to spine strip Volume VII, some old staining otherwise a good clean set. Very very few complete 13 volume sets exist of this rare set.
