Second Edition 1888, Published (For The Subscribers) By The Author, London, 37cm, with 48 chromolithographic coloured plates after J. G. Keulemans, 2 uncoloured and numerous wood engravings in the text. A clean set with very little foxing, a few light spots on the preliminary pages, else clean, plates crisp and bright. This set bound in the variant red half leather binding with red pebbled boards. Some speckling to the boards, gilt fore-edges.
