presentation 'Elingamite presented by the Citizens of Wellington' to lady members of the Williamson Music Company for thanks in raising funds to assist the survivors. The SS Elingamite was an Australian passenger steamer wrecked on 9 November 1902 off the north coast of New Zealand carrying a large consignment of gold.
