The letter is a note written by Pomare the first Christian King of Otahiti relating to a present to mrs Lacroix by Mr G Bennet Esq one of the two gentlemen who formed the Disposition sent to the South Sea Islands in 1821. The letter and smaller note of its content are laid on a paper page with 3 other end of letters verso. A rare and interesting historical South Seas document.
