Limited edition 2031/2500 for Medicina Rara, bound in half leather and marbled boards with slipcase. A fine copy of the 1517 first edition. Gerbdorff also known as Schyl-Hans (1455-1529) was a surgeon who produced the book in 1517 illustrated with woodcuts attributed to Hans Wechtlin.
